Gianluigi Tarantino

I am a photographer specialising in architecture, interiors and hospitality, based in Salento, Southern Italy. My work focuses on the relationship between light, space and materiality, creating images for architecture practices, interior designers, hotels, masserias, brands and publications.

After studying Graphic Design and Visual Communication, I continued my photographic training at City Academy in London, at LINEA — a centre dedicated to contemporary photography and visual research — and at the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia in Milan, where I specialised in architecture and interiors photography.

Alongside commissions I pursue personal research into image-making, landscape geometries and traces of human presence. In 2020 I founded spazio_141, a coworking and creative space in Salento.
